An idiot gets his come-uppance

The video below shows a temper tantrum thrown by a young man (?) after his mother cancelled his World of Warcraft account for some infringement of domestic discipline. His brother is quick to record the resulting rumpus.

All I can say is that, if I'd ever thrown a hissy-fit like this, my father would have thrashed me severely, and probably suspended every other privilege I had into the bargain! What's more, he'd have been right to do so! I can only hope this kid gets a wake-up call before he grows up into a spoiled-rotten, self-centered adult who'll never amount to anything.

Sheesh!

Looks like Mom knew exactly which button to push!

If the kid isn't faking it, he really needs to go back to first grade. I've been around kindergarten students who are more mature.

While I've seen some dramatic reactions from teenage boys, I think what's been caught on tape isn't actually a regular tantrum. The mannerisms and behaviors shown appear to be more in line with an ESE (special Ed) kid... Autistic, for example. Their reactions tend to be over the top for the smallest change in their environment. Hitting himself with a boot and hiding under the covers were both coping mechanisms they use.

Disclaimer: I'm no doctor, and don't deal on a daily basis with this problem. However, I have one friend with a sister that has issues, and another friend that has a couple of ESE sons. You pick up on the nuances when you're around it.

Or, it could be one REALLY badly behaved kid.

I have to agree with Phillip...this is not a normal temper tantrum situation. He has the appearance of a child who has special needs. I have two children with autism and have spent a lot of time working with kids with Autism in the school system. I'm not condoning his behavior...as I don't allow my own children to respond that way...but they have to be taught copeing skills to deal with their frustration and anger...when that isn't done...it will come out like this. :(

There's another video circulating around of the same kid taking a bat to the truck his parents bought him because he says it makes him look like a poor kid... Sad thing is, his truck looks just like mine and I have a full time job...

If it ain't autism, it's a serious case of chronic hickory deficiency.

Then again: World of Warcraft can be seriously addicting (my ex once tried to get me to play -- no thanks), so maybe he was having withdrawal symptoms! :D

I know nothing about this but what I just watched. I suspect an act, a performance, but on the other hand the kid never once looked at the camera and overall it was pretty convincing. If real, and probably is, this kid really needs help before it's too late.

And bro ain't helping.

Am I the only person who had the impulse to find a way of editing a speed-metal soundtrack into this?

I'm a bad man... I know...

Not sure if it's the same kid, but the cameraman looks the same.

When I was that age this sort of thing was dealt by parents with the help of a big stick.

I still think they were spot-on, way back then.

I know nowadays everyone gets "offended" by what I just said.

Then again, I don't care: back then we didn't have mass murderers. Other than politicians, that is.

Its not known as World of WarCrack for nothing.

+1 on Ambulance Driver.

Huge lack of Hickory in his diet.

I blame the parents.

Just saw the truck video. Same kid.

I'd give skates for his 17th birthday.
