Light blogging tonight

I've been cooking much of the evening - a venison stew, with backstrap and roast, baby onions, leeks, Portobello mushrooms, gravy and red wine, accompanied by baked potatoes, asparagus and - of course - beer for those who like it. It seems to have been a successful meal, judging by the full stomachs and sated expressions of those eating it.

Being rather full and sated myself, I won't put up any blog posts tonight - I'm too tired! I'll put up a couple in the morning.
