Santa's sleigh, modernized


On two continents, engineers and auto designers have been figuring out how to update Santa's sleigh.

Car magazine in England has been publishing articles describing how designers from various marques envision Santa's sleigh. So far, in alphabetical order, Aston-Martin, Audi, Bentley, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, Rolls-Royce and Vauxhall have had a go. There are detailed articles at the links. They make for fun reading.

In the US, General Electric has had a go at envisioning the new technologies Santa might employ to help him make his annual run. Here are their suggestions.






Looks like the Man In Red is going to have a hard time keeping abreast of technology, never mind delivering his gifts!

Neat show. Increased capacity for optical discs is bound to happen, and I am entirely curious about future power storage technology.
