I find these video clips of golf balls being struck, or striking a hard surface, absolutely fascinating. What appears to our sight and touch to be a rock-solid object turns out to be anything but!
Call me silly if you wish, but I find that amazing! Shows how much we don't notice, doesn't it?

I agree those vids are utterly fascinating.
I'm curious how fast the second golf ball was traveling and if it was projected from something mechanical or if it's possible for a human to exert that degree of force on the ball. I think the golf ball is an engineering marvel. It's nice to consider the absolute genius of things we consider ordinary and unremarkable. :)
