A bank robber meets his match

The video below shows a wannabe bank robber, apparently in Florissant, MO. He allegedly robbed the bank by pretending to have a bomb in his pocket, but was tackled by a bystander and held for police. The comments from observers are very funny, albeit a bit unsafe for work at times - you might want to turn down the volume if you're watching in the office!

Well done to the man who tackled the robber!

I think maybe the perp was darned lucky a CCW carrier wasn't in the place. Might have been a whole different outcome.

I think there's a lesson for the anti-gunners here. You can here someone calling it in, and you know the bank hit an alarm...and look at how long it took before the cops arrived to help. Now imagine someone assaulting you for the same amount of time...

And yes, I know it is "hear," not "here." Still on first cup of coffee...

At least 5 minutes for the police to arrive... and that's to a silent alarm BIP call at a bank... What does that tell you about any other response times??? Carry and be prepared to defend YOURSELF and YOUR FAMILY!

At least 3:45 minutes for the police to arrive from the start of the recording.

Neither of the "mouths" on scene provided any assistance to the subject holding the perpetrato; in fact some of their comments indicated possible danger by either further exciting the perpetrator or by them going for the money they kept referring to.

First responding officer was told the man had a "bomb" but he transmitted on his radio immediately after that without ascertaining wether there was or was not an ied in the area.
