The funny side of music, Part III


Tonight I'd like to introduce the music of Lonnie Donegan, a British singer who became famous on both sides of the Atlantic. He was a skiffle musician, a category largely forgotten today, but immensely popular in past decades. You can read about his life and career at the link provided.

Here are two of his most popular tunes. First, the inimitable 'My Old Man's A Dustman'.







Second, almost as popular in England (and a Number 5 hit for him in the USA), 'Does Your Chewing-Gum Lose Its Flavor On The Bedpost Overnight?'
