Some pilots have way too much time on their hands . . .


. . . at least, this Swedish Air Force pilot of a Saab Viggen supersonic fighter seemed to have, one day not too long ago!







If I'd been in the cockpit, the temptation to hit the afterburner and really let 'er rip would have been overwhelming . . .

Checked a few swedish forums for the background, and apparently this video is several years old, some sources claims it's 10 years old. It's a "christmas greeting" that the bases send to eachother, each trying to outdo the others.

At the time the video was taken all planes were grounded at the base in question, but the plane needed some running time, and someone seems to have gotten a bright idea on how to use the opportunity. :)
