Forget cars on ice - how about Boeings?

This Scandinavian Airlines System Boeing 737 was trying to taxi at Bodø Airport in Norway. Unfortunately, the buildup of ice on the apron made for a wild ride!

Good grief, I can only imagine what the runway was like!

You sure the pilot wasn't doing it on purpose, for the fun of it? :)

I'm wondering how he thought he was going to maintain control during that takeoff with so much ice on the runway?

Take about a high pucker-factor moment!

Heh... but THAT was a fun conversation in the cockpit... We took off out of Adak, AK once with the brakes locked... runway was so slick with ice, we never noticed it...
