That's one way to pull a tooth!


Reader Mike W. sent me the link to this video clip, which made me chuckle.







Intrigued, I did a search on YouTube, and found that there are many other videos of kids (and adults) pulling teeth using Nerf guns. I've no idea who first thought of it, and I doubt whether the ADA would approve, but I daresay it works well enough - most of the time . . .

Well I for one am glad my son is too old for Nerf now.

No teeth involved but his aim in life, when younger, was to shoot me regularly. His aim was to get one to stick on my forehead, failing that he unerringly aimed at another 'sensitive area'. Ever been hit somewhere sensitive with a Nerf bullet when you weren't expecting it? Well let me tell you it.. smarts!

I may have told him off if it wasn't for the fact he kept demonstrating that he was a natural point shooter. I still limp and flinch whenever I see a Nerf gun though :-)
