Now that's a shredder!

This makes every other shredder I've ever seen look woefully, pathetically inadequate . . .

Looks like a machine from SSI Shredding Systems, who have videos galore. :)

You should see it when someone forgets to remove the gas tank first. Happened to be at a recycling plant when that happened. They whole place shook and the fire ball was rather bright.

Now, this would come in handy to resolve the Sydney peak hour traffic problem!...

I don't know that I NEED one of those, but I sure WANT one--mounted perpendicular to the ground on the front of my truck.

Rush hour? I'd take months to get home.

Hey, NOONS, more to the point, it would come in handy to resolve the glut of Politicians our Country is burdened with.

A twin-shaft rotary shear shredder with hydraulic drive, but probably not an SSI system.

Notice that the shredder is mobile - it's mounted on a tracked undercarriage.

Interesting tooth profile on the cutters too.

Heckuva speed on the discharge conveyor.

Incidently, car shredders usually are the rotary hammer type to deliver maximum power. They can be 1000 hp, and are incredibly loud.

Let's see what it can do with, say, a 57 'Dodge.
