How not to hold up a bank

First, don't assume everyone will be intimidated!

Armed with a realistic plastic replica handgun, a 34-year-old man on Friday attempted to rob a bank in Trimble, Mo., according to police. Unfortunately for the robber, one of the bank’s employees was able to retrieve a very real Smith and Wesson .357 revolver and shoot the suspect in the face, effectively ending the robbery attempt.

There's more at the link.  Here's a video report.

I would say "That'll teach him" . . . but idiots like the criminal concerned seldom learn from their mistakes.  This one was very nearly terminal for him.  Let's hear it for the armed citizen who stopped him!

Love the comment from the police chief. Clearly, he approves of citizens protecting themselves against violent criminals!
