Too cute!

It never ceases to amaze (and amuse) me how the young of any and every species seem to recognize each other as infants.  We saw it a few days ago in an encounter between a 2-month-old Golden Retriever puppy and an 8-month-old baby girl.  Here's a kitten and a baby raccoon having a wonderful time together.

Which explains why I prefer animals to humans. Animals and humans never cease to amaze me, but animals do it in a good way.

Yeah, having come home to find my cat suffering on the back porch, right rear leg defenestrated and clearly beyond hope of making the vet hospital, to me, the picture makes me wonder if I could accept the cost of flooring that a 9mm round would get me.
Err, no it doesn't. That animal is a predator. Each spring I watch them pull baby birds out of the bird house my wife doesn't want me to take down.... I no longer have pets that are smaller then racoons. Thank you for allowing anonymous posts, sorry to be a downer.
