Quote of the day

From author, blogger and buddy in meat- and cyberspace, Larry Correia:

This election is a train carrying toxic waste derailing into a sewage treatment plant.

Word.

Pure virtue signaling, without actually addressing the issue.

Will our next president be a flawed human who understands business and wants to restore American values and power?

Or a career criminal who doesn't care about Americans?

"This election is a train carrying toxic waste derailing into a (malfunctioning) sewage treatment plant. There fixed it. :)

And we the people are all trapped downstream and downwind with no where to run.
My expectation is that Trump would be ineffectual, finding every hand in Washington turned against him.
Hillary, who I fully expect to cheat her way into office, will be pure evil. A third term of Obama with more corruption and an even greater degree of incompetence.

That pretty well sums it up!

It's beginning to look like there is no way out except for a Second Amendment Jeffersonian do-over. And 'we the little people' can bitch all we want but until the wealthy of this country, like in Jefferson's day, figure out they are in danger is anything going to change. Because what we don't want is a French or Russian Revolution!

Larry appears to be into the cliche of the moment, so I'll counter with an oldie but goodie: It is what it is. Deal with it.
