Do you have any idea if they significantly increased the power by doing so? I have heard and read that at least one company that pot turbos on the Grumman Goose showed them off by taking off on one engine.

The Dornier looks a little weird with three engines.Jim22http://therealrevo.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-33419239893646201942015-09-12T06:12:58.699-05:002015-09-12T06:12:58.699-05:00Certainly came off better than that PBY that was d...Certainly came off better than that PBY that was destroyed during filming recently. I would think the less time/distance needed to get off/onto the water would be a safer objective.Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722792638246578812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-44113567664631500412015-09-11T20:20:44.793-05:002015-09-11T20:20:44.793-05:00Woof, lucky they didn't hang a tip and buckle ...Woof, lucky they didn't hang a tip and buckle the wing/flip it inverted.Old NFOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16404197287935017147noreply@blogger.com
