Cruising along, I came around a corner to encounter a bunch of tarantulas crossing the road. I stopped to look. They move rather slowly when in traveling mode. Big suckers, too. Very colorful against a blacktop road.

I was surprised that CA doesn't install yellow diamond warning signs "spider crossing ahead". They warn about everything else in this "progressive slice of heaven".Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722792638246578812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-51272591346970196172014-05-07T22:04:31.888-05:002014-05-07T22:04:31.888-05:00I knew a guy who worked for a grocery store. As they were carrying them in, what looked like a grey tennis ball fell out of one of the bunches and rolled a few feet. As it warmed a bit it slowly unfurled into a tarantula and began to walk. I think of that every time I see bananas in a store.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-3703944784531466192014-05-07T19:47:09.692-05:002014-05-07T19:47:09.692-05:00...besides, all he really had to do was start stom......besides, all he really had to do was start stomping on them.
