Back from the hospital

The caudal injection seems to have gone OK, apart from a fair amount of pain during the procedure.  The doctor informed me that the mass of scar tissue in the area - the cumulative result of a bullet wound many years ago, followed by two spine surgeries after my disabling injury in 2004 - made it difficult to pass between the lumps to get at the caudal cavity, and resisted the needle, hence causing added pain.  However, once he got in there, it went well.

I'm back home now with a numb butt and vague feelings of posterior resentment.  This, too, shall pass.  Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes!

Peter

  1. Snort... posterior resentment is one I haven't heard! But I'd take that over the usual PITA!

  2. Prayers go out to you... My better half just had his second one of these injections and it helps him; at least for a couple months.

  3. Hopefully the relief will last till the procedure which will clear away your issues. Hopefully you will be fully recovered before the mideast goes up in flames,

  4. Goodness, I take a day off and your causing trouble!

Glad to hear it went well and I hope it gives you the promised relief of "posterior resentment" snort.

Ponder how different it was when some English King had daily treatments for weeping wounds of the legs. Sounds like diabetes sores.

Or quicksilver (aka Mercury) was injected into the urethra to treat Syphilis.

    Welcome back buddy.
