It's not a condemnation of just the Democrats. Both parties have furthered our intervention into the region. Part of the problem, I believe, is that to a sufficiently flexible or adequately motivated mind, almost anything can be called a matter of national security.Retired Mustanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02699864696101977529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-50848951314978874332016-01-15T12:19:17.454-06:002016-01-15T12:19:17.454-06:00Honestly I am not convinced on Russia or China. I remember reading that the Russians have always had a fantastic foreign service, and it struck me that I doubt it did the average Russian any good at all. I don't see how any sane and rational person can look at the countries on that map and say "boy we really need some of that here!".

The world has gone utterly mad. Not just the middle east but Europe and the US as well. China and Russia appear to be at least looking out for their national interest and not trying to commit national suicide like most of Europe and the US. It's kind of a tell that the person or entity is incapable of rational thought and that any other thing they say should be taken with a box of Morton's. Ann Althouse, who voted for Obama twice because she thought it was the intellectual thing to do, is a prime example.DaveP.noreply@blogger.com
