(my numbers, for exaggeration purposes.)

They do the same thing with anything they hate. Trucks: Truck fatalities up 50% over cars, while forgetting to mention people are bailing on cars and suv's are considered 'light trucks.'

Gun deaths are up 200%: again, not mentioning that there were only a ridiculously low number of gun deaths to begin with, and most of them are suicides, and some of them are good-shoots.

Sure, there are places being hit hard by the Covidiocracy. Aesop talks about it all the time. But look at some other things. Where are the piles of dead urban-outdoorsmen (a Neil Boortz term for homeless) or the piles of dead and dying chronic drug users, or the Venn intersection of urban outdoorsmen and chronic drug users.

Not to mention, how many people going into the ICU wouldn't be in the ICU if preventative medical care was given, rather than not given till the extreme happens?

Lots to unpack about the actual actual COVID stuff, from what are the actual numbers of people dying from COVID vs people dying with COVID and the reliability of all the various tests and the suppression of Hydrocloroquin and Ivermectin and other drugs (about once a month, you'll hear about a legacy drug working wonders for preventing or slowing or stopping the COVID.)

And... None of this, NONE OF THIS, is about combatting a 'pandemic' (make spooky noise, waggle fingers in a spooky way.) It was and is all about Control of us peasants, and also getting rid of OrangeManBad (none of this, NONE OF THIS, was serious until Impeachment failed. She's listed as Brytney Snow (her maiden name based on her Facebook page). I think it's clear she's a doctor but not one who sees patients by appointment, thus the small amount of information available online and the fact she talks about hospitalized patients.

I agree with Gary that the vaccine is working though there are potential risks (as there are risks of not being vaccinated). Unfortunately there are some vocal people (Vox Day, earlier commenters here) who claim it's a fake vaccine and apparently Donald Trump and Joe Biden are part of some conspiracy to force a fake vaccine on people for some reason I haven't been able to figure out.Thomas Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05701283200252131890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-10910018937916577902021-07-30T09:55:07.963-05:002021-07-30T09:55:07.963-05:00I am a plaintiff in the lawsuit against vaccine ma...I am a plaintiff in the lawsuit against vaccine mandates filed against Houston Methodist. It doesn't change the underlying risk calculations haven't changed: balancing (side-effects of vaccine) against (chance of catching covid) * (chance of serious side effects, depending on health) * (chance vaccine *fails* to work). If they were true, or if anything remotely like them were true, I am sure our local paper or our local TV station would have had similar heart-rending stories, and they haven't had anything of the kind, despite both being very eager to urge Alabamians to get vaccinated. Indeed, the article about Brytney wasn't carried locally, presumably because local editors knew it was, at best, exaggerated.

That said, I too was suspicious of Brytney's credentials and I tried to check them online. She could be a doctor. If not, she's gone to some effort to fake it. She's not known to the AMA, which also normally lists non-member doctors. OTOH, a listing for her does appear in Healthgrades and Vitals, and at least one of those does say that she has admitting privileges at Grandview. That said, both listings are bare-bones, with no biographical data and very few details.
Meredith Dixonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15938011371115371426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-81942500240436480482021-07-30T08:44:56.478-05:002021-07-30T08:44:56.478-05:00The fact that Dr. Brytney Cobia isn't listed o...The fact that Dr. Brytney Cobia isn't listed on the medical center's website list of physicians doesn't say anything. The hospitalists at my local hospital aren't listed on the website either since they don't see patients by appointment.

Looking at the Facebook page for Dr. Cobia (linked in one of your links) she does seem to be a real person, a real doctor, and works at the hospital she claims to work at. If she isn't somebody's come up with a really elaborate hoax, it takes a lot of effort to create a Facebook account with 1300 friends who all go along with a fake job listing.

The American Thinker article you linked to also doesn't refute her claims that most of those hospitalized are unvaccinated. It finds that overall hospitalization rates haven't risen but says nothing about what subset of the population (vaccinated or not) are hospitalized.Thomas Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05701283200252131890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-34993372189990554602021-07-30T07:53:53.105-05:002021-07-30T07:53:53.105-05:00Vox Day's blog today posted a link to a piece ...Vox Day's blog today posted a link to a piece containing what lawyers claim to be an ironclad religious exemption request.
