Tired, I know, ...So thankful that you're all right. Tired, I know, but safe. So sorry for the damage to your house, but hey, what's a little more, right? Best of all is knowing that the governments and other forces involved in helping are so much more prepared now. Some lessons were learned a couple of years ago. That time you had a house full of refugees. This year, I guess it's up to others to pass it forward.

I am always amazed at the odd things that happen in a storm like this. The wood is still there on your shed (thankfully) yet the corrugated sheets are gone. If you hadn't told us that, I would have wondered what was wrong with the shed. I continue to keep you in my prayers, knowing there's still a long road ahead. But we're also concentrating on Hanna and Ike at present.cathikinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12180306267340755443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-82144474720445404982008-09-05T04:17:00.000-05:002008-09-05T04:17:00.000-05:00I am so thankful you weathered the storm so well. ...I am so thankful you weathered the storm so well. Sorry for the damage, of course, but relieved things weren't worse. I am curious if all the neatly stacked wood in your shed remained so even as the corrugated metal was stripped from the exterior walls? Hope to talk to you again soon, dear friend!phlegmfatalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08636803080525003892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-39450617139155226092008-09-05T00:28:00.000-05:002008-09-05T00:28:00.000-05:00PETER!!! Gustav made his way up here to Illinois and gave us a back-handed slap today. I live across the street from a Legion Hall with a parking lot that has a tendency to flood in moderate rain. Needless to say, it's a LAKE tonight. But we got NOTHING compared to your encounter with that nasty bugger. I'm so glad you've weathered the storm. Great to have you back on line.

Rest well, my friend... you've certainly earned a good night's rest.Deborah Cullins Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05432072631277861967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-68104034094825854652008-09-04T23:22:00.000-05:002008-09-04T23:22:00.000-05:00Prayers to you, I am glad you are safe.Prayers to you, I am glad you are safe.Owenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02027899441225618342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-32846334975651949912008-09-04T22:44:00.000-05:002008-09-04T22:44:00.000-05:00Very relieved that you are doing well.
