I thought it must be a battery issue but when I took the batteries out, a rubber washer came out with them. Fixed the issue short time by swapping the spare EOTech and LaRue Tactical mount. I take it to the range and re-zero this week.

GerryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564111374650870889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-37398055608426440702021-01-16T05:46:42.226-06:002021-01-16T05:46:42.226-06:00I'll agree, spare parts for guns is critical a...I'll agree, spare parts for guns is critical and while an AR may get "some increased use" don't forget parts for your daily carry.

Beyond that, I suspect we'll see disruptions in availability of things we take for granted in other areas, such as vehicle belts, hoses, filters, wiper blades, tires, etc., appliances, rugged clothing, spare eyeglasses, boots, and so on. If anything you regularly use is marginal, or even just becoming worn, now would be a good time to take care of that or procure a spare (actually, late 2019-to-mid-2020 would have been better, but....).Unknown # 4B, Jr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05780752937841781671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-32650085030133957032021-01-16T03:20:10.440-06:002021-01-16T03:20:10.440-06:00Dead right about batteries, buy alkaline in bulk. ...Dead right about batteries, buy alkaline in bulk. To that I would add all the books by Zediker. Many but not all of Sweeney's books are poorly edited and proofed. Zediker's books reflect an indulgent approach to language and need a close reading and rereading but go beyond Sweeney's books. It's no reflection on Sweeney to say his audience is mass market and Zediker goes beyond to a more informed and interested market. Worth a look even if the intention and interest is a simple build.clark myershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04087642063181620051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-78222641914928063222021-01-15T15:26:14.912-06:002021-01-15T15:26:14.912-06:00@Jonathan H: I think there will indeed be shortag...@Jonathan H: I think there will indeed be shortages, but they'll vary across the country. What may be in short supply in one area may be abundant in another. I don't think it's possible to put your finger on one thing (except guns and ammo!) and say it'll be short everywhere. You'll have to look at how the past year has been in your part of the country, and stock up on things that ran short.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10595089829300831372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-91179249502361363532021-01-15T14:44:23.320-06:002021-01-15T14:44:23.320-06:00You are correct, ANY spare parts are in short supp...You are correct, ANY spare parts are in short supply right now...
