Kind of like watching the camp fire.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-1884949380341972402015-01-07T07:50:45.560-06:002015-01-07T07:50:45.560-06:00My father-in-law grew up on a farm, many years ago...My father-in-law grew up on a farm, many years ago. He has told me many stories from his youth, but two of the most memorable are 1)peeing on the electric fence (yes, it was a dare) and 2) holding onto the electric fence the longest(like rodeo bull riding, and yes, it was a dare).

The electric fences that he tells about are not always charged, but emit a pulse every so often (like every ten seconds or so). It was entirely possible to pee on the fence and not have that happen. Sort of like Russian roulette with high voltage.

According to him, it hurt enough that you'd never want to do it again. But nobody ever died from it, either.Shrimpnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-37889162461804297022015-01-07T00:59:34.187-06:002015-01-07T00:59:34.187-06:00As a kid I pee'd on a pasture fence once, sinc...As a kid I pee'd on a pasture fence once, since then I have never pee'd on any fence.Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15713780751036681768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-79780753535084197992015-01-06T18:58:17.420-06:002015-01-06T18:58:17.420-06:00I saw a slo-mo video of a stream of pee and it is ...I saw a slo-mo video of a stream of pee and it is never a solid stream. It always has breaks in the stream, preventing a path for direct current to flow.

So, you can pee on a 12V battery and nothing happens... no current path. BUT, an electric fence has very high voltage that pulses and can arc across the gaps in the pee stream, resulting in what you see in this video.

If it had been high voltage and high current(like a power line), the dude would have crisped his privates and most of the rest of him.

A calculated risk resulting in a painful shock but I'll bet these guys knew the science behind this from the get-go.Bobnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-7504002993909513892015-01-06T18:49:19.242-06:002015-01-06T18:49:19.242-06:00Not long ago I read some nameless denizen of the W...Not long ago I read some nameless denizen of the Webz' assertion that "Peeing on an electric fence won't really do anything to you." I beg to differ, and not because of watching this video.Shellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17673609316649175930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-80374181938486857112015-01-06T09:44:40.693-06:002015-01-06T09:44:40.693-06:00Blatant stupidity...
