I know that cities have notably been Leftist bastions, but even in DC metro, near Dallas, in Chicago, in Detroit there are sparks of rebellion from the DNC slave plantations. There are many who are beginning to recognize that when and if the SHTF, a megacity is the last place you want to be.

Where I live now is ultra-Blue, but I still catch the muted whispers of people talking about "I'm voting Trump--don't tell anyone!" A girl in my class came to me crying, saying the boys were teasing her. I asked her what they were saying, and she said they claimed meat came from animals. Animals on farms. She had no concept of meat as muscle tissue, or fat on meat in a package from the store was very similar to the fat on a human body when people were "fat." Total disconnect from reality. She honestly thought farmers kept animals as pets; in her mind the pictures from a children's early reader book that showed Farmer Brown with one horse, one cow, two or three chickens, and a dog was representative of a real farm and the numbers of animals each one had. Slaughter a calf to make veal? Surely you must be joking!

The level of ignorance and lack of understanding about the laws of nature is proportional to the degree of urbanization.Rolfhttp://www.thestarscameback.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244999628674918029.post-54670895826294506262016-10-16T11:40:09.827-05:002016-10-16T11:40:09.827-05:00"Freedom of speech and freedom of thought are..."Freedom of speech and freedom of thought are catchpenny phrases. There is much of the former, but very little of the latter. Speech is generally the result of automatic thought rather than of ratiocination. Independent thought is of all mental processes the most difficult and the most rare; habit, tradition, and reverence for antiquity unite to forbid it, and these combined influences are strengthened by the law of heredity. The tendency to automatic action of the mind is still further promoted by the environment of modern life. The crowding of populations into cities, and the division and subdivision of labor in the factory and the shop, and even in the so-called learned professions, have a tendency to increase the dependence of the individual upon the mass of society. And this interdependence of the units of society renders them more and more imitative, and hence more and more automatic both mentally and physically."

—Charles H. First stop will be a church basement or a union hall for breakfast. Many of these "voters" have no idea who is running for the offices that they will vote to fill. They will be educated before they get to the polls. They will vote for the people that they are told to vote for because, well, its the right thing to do... After voting they will be brought back for lunch, then taken home.

I understand that it is a right, a "civic duty", to vote. So is owning and carrying a firearm. Trump signs and hats are everywhere in the rural areas and in the city, not only are the people around me Hillary voters, but they've worked themselves into frenzied messes by circulating and recirculating the same facebook posts about how Trump is a racist and a rapist, all based on incidents that allegedly took place decades ago or single sentences he said years or decades back. A couple of the women here literally cry for the "victims" that Trump is alleged to have raped, claiming that they can identify with them because of their own past experiences, but none of them wants to talk about Bill Clinton's victims whom Hillary herself slandered and degraded for so long. There's a massive double standard where they still accuse Trump of doing things that we all know Bill Clinton did, and even though some will admit that Hillary is corrupt, they also don't care because if Trump gets in, gay marriages will be illegal, every hispanic will be deported, etc. The Left has spent millions of dollars to villify Trump personally because they don't want to go head-to-head with him in the actual issues or run Hillary on her record, or Bill's or Obama's. And from where I sit, in the middle of this little blue island called New Orleans, it's working. No one I talk to can tell me about the candidates' real positions. All they know is that if Trump wins, their own lives will be radically changed forever because Trump is against whatever they care about, and they believe this to such an extent that some are having panic attacks about it already. It's insane. But the Dems' dirty tricks department really pulled this one together well. But I believe specialization of education, leads to what we see as the result. Another factor, is the loss of the " common home", the farm, that was manpower intensive to machine farms, where one man and a machine do the work of many farms.
