I wrote about the CFPB when it first was getting started and always thought it was unconstitutional. <br /><br />For example, in 2014 they voted themselves the right to shut down any business any time they want. <i>They voted themselves</i> the right?? Yeah. Could they vote themselves to ability to use nuclear weapons? Could they vote themselves the power to shut down congress completely? What powers do they want? <br /><br />The way the CFPB was written, they don't report to the government at all; they report to the head of the Federal Reserve, which isn't a government branch.
