Doofus Of The Day #47
*Gigglesnort!*
EDITED TO ADD: In response to Phillip's comment, I hasten to add that the driver and his 10-year-old son weren't injured, and were able to escape. The story and photographs are here.
Doofus, yes. But even as cold hearted as I can be, I look at the end of the video and wonder if the driver and passengers were killed. It looks like the roof he knocks down crushes the cab of the truck.
Now, if nobody was hurt, I could laugh at the driver for days and not feel bad.
what a flimsy structure, though. You'd think it would be a little more solid than to collapse so easily. After all, I seriously doubt that camper is built like a Tupolev, or anything.
The good news is that the "roof plate" was made of equally flimsy materials. In the video it looks like total death but the roof stuff just crumpled around the truck without caving it in. It was still drivable afterwards :).

Holy Sh!T!
ReplyDeleteThis should be shown to first year engineers everywhere!
ReplyDeleteWhat. A. Mouth-breather.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought the same thing Phillip did. I'm glad to know that only pride and wallets were hurt.
Still, dude needs to have his head examined.
