Carnival all over the world

From Sao Paolo, Brazil:

From Tenerife in the Canary Islands:

From Oristano in western Sardinia:

I don't want to post more, due to copyright considerations (fair use of a few is OK, but no more than that). Click here to see the whole collection. It's very interesting viewing.

Eat your heart out, Phlegmmy!

  1. Wow. For such elaborate costumes, they don't really cover much, to they?! ;) I love all the feathers, though.

  2. Ya know, Peter, even I must admit being hoisted aloft in such manner albeit barely clad looks a most comfy alternative to actually having to walk in those puppies! Thanks for nod, though - what a treat. These make ALL my shoe collection look demure and sensible!
