Today's Doofus is from Sarasota in Florida.

A man stole a minivan from the county water plant and was caught when he topped 100 mph and someone called a “How’s My Driving?” phone number to complain.

Someone broke into the plant overnight, and workers noticed the minivan missing this morning.

A few hours later, in Manatee County, a driver saw the minivan speeding on U.S. 301 and decided to call the customer service number on a bumper sticker.

Manatee Sheriff’s deputies captured the driver at a Goodwill on 15th Street.

Moral of the story: if you're going to drive a stolen van like a maniac, make sure your wheels don't advise those around you where to complain about it!
