Thanks to Mike H. for sending me an e-mail, with these pictures, about a new fund-raising project by Travelaid, a British charity based at Oxford which uses university students to aid in third world poverty relief and development efforts. (I understand Mike's a past volunteer for Travelaid.)
It's in the (rather delightful) form of a calendar featuring young students wandering naked through Oxford University and its environs, protected only by strategically placed textbooks, musical instruments and portions of anatomy.
The River Cherwell, famous as a venue for the Oxford University Rowing Clubs, is also featured. Not very sporting, really . . . I notice there's no cox in this picture!
Even the ancient halls of learning aren't safe from the underclad undergrads!
Looks like a good time was had by all. If you'd like to buy a copy of the calendar, Travelaid has set up a special Web site to publicize and sell it. Click over there and help a good cause. Oh - and may I suggest you get your significant other's permission first?
