Our four Doofi today are from Cambridgeshire, England.
Thieves who raided a boatyard were caught making their getaway - at a leisurely 3mph in a punt.
The gang of four ransacked 16 boats and caused almost £2,500 worth of damage before loading their booty on to the waiting craft.
Police using night-vision goggles spotted them in the punt after the raid on the Ouse near St Ives in Cambridgeshire.
The officers recovered two flatscreen TVs, a DVD player, two electricity generators and a large amount of alcohol.
James Parkinson, 26, from Huntingdon, and Khushmet Bardell, 22, and Rachel Helleur, 19, both from St Ives, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and two of criminal damage.
. . .
The case of a 17-year-old defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was adjourned.
Punts were developed in medieval times for dealing with shallow water and can do little more than walking pace.

Yep. If you want to get away from the scene of your crime, it really helps to use something faster!
