Boys and their toys again . . .


A very fast toy this time. I think it started life as a conventional ride-on mower, but I rather suspect the engine's been replaced by something a whole lot more powerful!





I don't know how many blades of grass will get cut at speeds like that, but I bet the driver's going to have fun!

  2. That reminds me of the "Tool Time" episode where Tim Allen upgrades the engine of his riding mower with a gas turbine engine.

    That didn't end well...

  3. 10 or 20 horses is probably actually enough. The big deal is the gearing--mowers are generally geared for higher torque and lower speeds, to get you around the yard better. Changing the gearing on a regular mower will lead to some impressive speed.

    It does sound like that motor has been souped up a bit.
