The biathlon as you've never seen it before!
In honor of the current Winter Olympics, here's a video clip of a . . . well, a different sort of biathlon.
However, speaking of the biathlon, I happened accidentally to catch Andy Rooney's comments about the sport last night. The moron actually said "Why would anyone on skis ever need a rifle?"
And this man is a WWII veteran? I guess that he doesn't understand anything that didn't happen in hie theater of operations.
I remembered the part about the Frenchman at the beginning, but I forgot about the rest. Funny, just the same.
I wonder what biathlon would be like if they had to hump an FN around instead of their gee-whiz poodle-shooters? Maybe throw in moving targets and simulated return fire, too...
Funny.

Good one, that would cut down on lots of 'misses' :-)

Jim
Who was it that said, "If you're going to a gun fight, bring a flame thrower!" That's what this reminds me of...
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
This is why the Finns and Russians always have staggered starts.
ReplyDeleteRooney doesn't realize that the original Olympic (modern iteration) events were pretty much martial skills.
