A truly daft exercise machine!

I've previously mentioned my research into treadmill desks. My search for information led me to this Reuters report about a novel adaptation for treadmills.

And he wants $2,500 for that??? I think I've heard everything now . . .

  1. I've seen vehicles (?) like that before, but 2500 bucks is a little out of line for a production model. An each-part-machined prototype perhaps though.

I don't quite understand the motive though: A bicycle is faster and walking is less kit.

  4. Dear Mother Mary and her seven dwarves! And it "has no mechanical parts"! Those goofy folks up in Canadia. This could, I guess count as a seriously misguided re-invention of the roller skate. You don't have to take your shoes off, that's the plus side. but then you have to store it and secure it. You get all the speed of walking, with the inherent instability and unwieldiness of a bicycle. Probably pays for itself in carbon credits, though, if you disregard the manufacturing.

wv - crugshau. A non-mechanical part that tansfers energy from this POS to the ground
