Bugs and Sam #3


Third in our weeklong look at Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam, here's 'Knighty Knight Bugs', the only Bugs Bunny cartoon to win an Oscar (in 1959). I find that a little puzzling, because I don't think it's the funniest or best Bugs cartoon ever made: but perhaps by then there had been so many good ones that the Academy simply gave the award to this one, on the grounds of 'better late than never'!

    It's good, but no it wasn't the best. I think you're right, this was a better late than never award.
