Forget cars on ice - how about Boeings?


This Scandinavian Airlines System Boeing 737 was trying to taxi at Bodø Airport in Norway. Unfortunately, the buildup of ice on the apron made for a wild ride!

  3. I'm wondering how he thought he was going to maintain control during that takeoff with so much ice on the runway?

  4. Heh... but THAT was a fun conversation in the cockpit... We took off out of Adak, AK once with the brakes locked... runway was so slick with ice, we never noticed it...
