Other states are following Wisconsin's lead

It seems the steps taken in Wisconsin to rein in public-sector unions are giving rise to similar measures elsewhere. National Review Online reports that eight states - Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee - are taking or have taken steps to deal with excessive union influence and/or benefits. I'm sure there'll be more to follow.

Needless to say, the unions are anything but happy about this. I think, of all the comments I've read or seen, Gary Varvel expressed their sentiments best:

He has some interesting and amusing cartoons on his blog. It's worth a visit.
