Winter fails 2011
Here's a collection of some of the best "fail" moments on ice and snow of the 2010/2011 winter season. Shiver, and enjoy!
From the original YouTube upload of this compilation (which also has several links to the creator's pages): "The best winter fails from this winter in one video. Cars sliding down the road, idiots falling through the ice. Roof cleaning gone wrong. All are in this compilation. There will also be a part 2. That'll be in the end of the winter."
I categorically prefer YouTube to Snotr--Snotr doesn't seem to think that anyone wants any supplemental information whatsoever about the videos!
Compilations like this always makes me wonder... don't americans ever use winter tires? They're mandatory here in sweden, and I've never seen cars sliding like that in person. Our winters are at least as bad, heck part of our country is north of the arctic circle.
Impressive collection! Mikael, listening to the accents in the audio, a LOT of these weren't from America. And the only winter tires that might grip such ice, are studded, and not readily available (let alone required.) The foolishness is in trying to drive on solid ice at all! We've grown complacent driving with all-weather tire that can handle MOST conditions. Trust me, the problem isn't the tires, it's the drivers!
Well, no. Very little of America has weather like Sweden.
Ironically, the parts of America that do have weather like Sweden are commonly populated by, erm, Swedes, actually. :D I guess y'all must actually like that sort of weather.
