An amazing display of colors
The Daily Mail has published an article with several aerial photographs of tulip fields in Holland. The splash of colors across the countryside is quite amazing, as this sample picture illustrates.
There are more (and larger) photographs at the link. Recommended reading.

Happy Easter and God Bless
ReplyDeleteNo wonder it's LEGAL to smoke pot in Amsterdam!
ReplyDeleteFantastic color!
Easter's late this year, cause it's a "lunar" event.
How come Jesus was born on ONE single day: 25 December, but died on any day determined by a new moon phase?
Just wondering.
Toejam, because the Church decided what date to celebrate Jesus's birth (since it is not specified in the Gospels) but the events surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection are clearly tied to the Passover. Since Passover is determined by a lunar calendar, Easter and the other feasts based on Easter (Pentecost for example) "float" a little.
