Skill, fate, or just dumb luck?
I don't know how he did it, but after he got back down, I hope he bought a lottery ticket!

Agreed. I did some things like that out in the Aleutians on tundra, along with other members of the Four-Wheelin' CBers club (gives you a time frame, right there) and lived to tell the tale.
Ya know after he rolled on his side, recovered and was facing "down-hill" he should have thrown it into reverse. Betcha he could have reversed it over the top.
Knowing 4-wheel dudes, he probably did. :D
