Readers may be familiar with the Monumenta art exhibition, which has been held for the past five years in the Grand Palais in Paris, France. Each year an artist is invited to create an artwork or exhibition that fills the almost 150,000 square feet of the nave. You can read about past years' exhibitions here. (A couple of them are intriguing, to say the least!)

This year Daniel Buren was invited to exhibit. He's constructed something he calls Excentrique(s).
There's a Web site devoted to his project where you can read more about it, including an interview with the artist.
The Telegraph has a very interesting photo gallery about the exhibition, from which the pictures in this article were drawn. It's well worth a visit.
I'd love to be there to see the exhibition 'in the flesh', so to speak. A hall of that size, filled with art on that scale, is something one has to experience in order to fully appreciate it.
