A musical blast from the past


I came across this on YouTube today while looking for something else, and it brought back all sorts of memories!  For those of us old enough to recall it, here's 'Pinball Wizard' from 'Tommy', one of the first 'rock operas', released by The Who in 1969.




Boy, does that take me back!  It's years - maybe decades - since I last heard it.

    Being 70 It brings back fond memories for me too.

    I was a young lad of 27 in 1969 and this was a great bit of music. Thanks for posting it.

    Heh. I went and saw their 2009 tour, mainly so I could hear a bunch of guys in their sixties sing "Hope I die before I get old" :)
