"China's overloaded delivery vehicles"
That's the title of a photographic essay in the Telegraph. Having spent a great deal of time in the Third World, I'm accustomed to seeing any sort of animal or vehicle - or human, for that matter! - heavily overloaded with all sorts of things; but these immense overhanging loads made me blink. Here are a few examples, reduced in size to fit here.
There are more at the link. Amusing viewing.

Immense, yes.
ReplyDeleteOverhanging, yes.
Overloaded?
They all seem to fit within the lane, and although large in volume are pretty evidently low in mass -- so well within the carrying capacity of the axle and the weight rating of the roads in question.
