Pity the poor car salesman . . .
. . . who finds himself the target of a 'Candid Camera'-type advertisement, where Jeff Gordon disguises himself and asks to test-drive a new Camaro! I recommend watching it in full-screen mode.
Everybody had to be in on that gag except the poor salesman. No way a dealership would just shrug off that kind of treatment of their brand new car, and when Gordon goes in at the beginning, they usually require his driver's license before allowing a test drive, which would of course identify him. What a great advertising gimmick, as everyone is now watching and posting up this fun video. My wife would love a Camero ( I'm a Charger SRT8 man, myself).

ReplyDeleteWow that's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteCan relate having spent many years retailing automobiles. Disappointed the salesman didn't ask him to buy the car.
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard I think I hurt myself.
ReplyDeleteI also laughed but by nervousness. that poor fat man could have an heart attack.
