Pimpalicious!

I enjoy looking at tastefully engraved and embellished firearms.  Note the qualifier 'tastefully'.  Something like these, for example:

This, on the other hand, is . . . not tasteful.

Ladies and gentlemen, that . . . thing . . . is the living definition of a 'pimp gun'.  Who on earth would want to engrave plastic???  And the price!  It's no wonder that, as of the time of writing, no-one had yet bid on it.

Yea, verily I say unto you, the mind doth boggle . . .

  1. The auction verbiage for the Glock is accurate. Words truly cannot do that gun justice.

  3. I highly recommend R.L.Wilson's book "Steel Canvas" for those who like embellished arms.
Two favorites with non traditional motifs- The outstanding color case hardened Celtic motif Hartmqnn and Weiss Mauser on page 319,and the Art Deco inspired Colt Baby Dragoon by Ray Wielgus on page 310.
Sorry I have no digital pictures!

  4. I had a friend that installed high power car stereo's back in the 80's and 90's. Lots of drug lord types would drop off their cars, pay in full, then 'disappear'. Seemed they went to jail or got off-ed before they could pick the car up. He'd file a mechanics lien and then sell it off. Happened quite often.

I wonder who commissioned this work of "ketchup on caviar"!!

Reminds me of this ode to firearm beautification....

  5. That Glock would be perfect for a Mexican drug lord. If they weren't getting their guns for free from our own government, that is exactly the piece that would sell south of the border.

  7. "I and others have tried to locate the engravers marking, but none has been found."

From shame, no doubt, given that discretion certainly wasn't a factor.
