Shotgun dance moves???
This is said to be Syrians dancing (and shooting) with shotguns - why, I have no idea.
Must be blanks, or at most salt-sized shot, because I'm not seeing much in the way of splash or splatter. But, uh, yeah. WTF, over? Of course, syria is a land chock-FULL of WTF, so...
This is an ANCHENT Bedu(spell?) tradition, dating back to the matchlock musket. They used to do this with sword ,shield, and lance. It may pre- date the Bible, and certainly echo's tribal war dances dating to the stone age. It is meant to show their power, fearlessness and contempt for death---Ray
