How not to make it through the mud . . .
Here's a Russian off-roading video that's just mind-boggling.
Remind me not to go off-roading with either of them, would you?
No kidding Rolf, that is a tough chick with a good attitude. Plus, whomever built the intake, exhaust and electric systems on that thing did a great job...no Lucas electrics on board.
Thanks Oleg, that's a great line. Anyone who can be smiling while mostly submerged in what seems to be very cold water is a stalwart person. Maybe she's a Siberian bush pilot when she isn't driving 4x4 submarines.
The driver's casualness as water cascades in her door is impressive.

ReplyDeleteInteresting to see them doing it so slowly, where American mud-bogging is (okay, tries to be) at higher speeds.
ReplyDeletePeter, any chance of getting Oleg to translate some of that dialog, especially the last part when the driver is talking directly to the camera?
ReplyDeleteHim: Go slow!
ReplyDelete(Unintelligible)
Her: Dangerous!
(Unintelligible)
Her: Up to my ears in shit but I'm happy!

ReplyDeleteLooking like she could use a conning tower, or at least a hatch in the roof!
ReplyDeleteScrew it, add a flying bridge.
