Airliners in slow motion


Here's another video clip for the aviation enthusiasts among us.  It shows airliners large and small in very slow motion as they come in to land or take off.  It's worth watching in full-screen mode.





Interesting how many more details of an aircraft one can see when one has time to look for them.

  2. That central main landing gear, on the tri-engine (DC-10?), looks quite odd. Never noticed that set-up prior to this video.

  3. @Will: The central landing gear came in on later models of the DC-10 and the further developed MD-11, to cope with the greatly increased weight of the aircraft and keep pavement loading within acceptable levels. For more information, see:
