Apparently this was a real table-tennis tournament, where the two players just got into the spirit of the thing and egged each other on to new heights of ridiculousness. Funniest game I've ever seen!
I recommend watching it in full-screen mode. I apologize for the banner links that appear on the video playback almost at once, but if you hover your mouse cursor over them, you'll spot the little 'X' that lets you shut them down.

You can also click the little gear shaped thing on the right hand side (Settings) and turn annotations off.
ReplyDeleteMan, that's funny. I love the part where they turn the table 90 degrees so that the line of fire is lined up with the referees ...
ReplyDeleteThis is a must see for those who compete, whatever their discipline.
ReplyDeleteTrue sportsmanship, great mobs of fun, and awesome skills!.
I felt as if I was watching the Harlem Globetrotters,- kind've.
Incredible skills, great humour, great connectivity with the audience.
If the two players are not a 'team', then they should be!.
It's good to see highly skilled competitors trying hard to win, but having fun with it, being good sports, and truly playing for love of the game and competition, but not with a unpleasantly driven win-at-any-cost lack of sportsmanship and humility. Great game, great competitors.
ReplyDeleteAmazing skill on display there... And sportsmanship too!
