Seal hearts dog (really!)
A seal at Cap Ferrat in France apparently loves dogs - particularly this Labrador retriever.
I used to work at a public aquarium on the East coast. Seals have a very similar temperament to dogs. I used to consider them to be about the same and it always worked for me (training, behavior, meeting new people, etc...)
Interesting... And seals can and often DO do strange things... :-)
