Looks like flying fish are out of luck, one way or another . . .

  2. The first time I saw a real live flying fish, I was amazed at how far they could glide. It is also ironic that at the time I was watching them from the bridge of the USS Flying Fish SSN673.

  3. Stunning photography.

    It is, though, the common life of just about all small fish. In the fall months around here, we get massive shoals of bait fish migrating south down the coast. They're under almost constant attack from below and above. Other times of year, when they're not in the massive shoals, they still get attacked. They're just harder to find and isolate.
