At a lumber mill in remote Oregon, the crew was cooking chickens for lunch over a 55 gallon drum with expanded metal grating for a grill, and a hole punched in the side for a propane weed burner. Seemed to work well, the chicken tasted great. It may have come from the same school of grill design.
There isn't much of a connection between the tank and the bowl, just a plastic w/foam rubber drain and two or three bolts with insulating washers that balance the tank on top of the drain. I'm wondering if they plugged that large drain, or is ice also filling part of the s-bend in the back of the bowl?
Genius!
ReplyDeleteIf it works... It ain't wrong... :-)
ReplyDeleteDoes the grill get the ceramic hot enough to melt the ice? It isn't a good insulator.
