Errr... only in Texas?

I found this at Wirecutter's place, and simply had to re-post it for Phlegmmy's benefit.

Yea, verily, the mind doth boggle . . .

  1. I've heard of women being described as "a good lookin' heifer", but that stretches the metaphor.

  3. Not Texas.

    Iris Schieferstein
The German artist Iris Schieferstein, has worked with dead animals as raw material for her pieces of art for many years. She joins the fragments together to new creatures and thus gives a new face to death. No matter, if her arrangements follow paintings of the great masters of art or if the joined objects turn out to be whole words - her work always gives evidence of aesthetic intuition and her inclination to subtle entertainment. The earlier you die - the longer you are dead.

  6. Definitely not a practical shoe: the heel spike is too far back and would catch the ground as the wearer tried to walk.

Therefore, not Texas. someone from Texas might use these themes together, but they'd make sure you could walk in them.
